Definitions

Works - The physical labour done by sub-contractors
Works specification - The specific works to be completed
Works schedule - The agreed times for the works to be completed
Deposit payment - A payment made before work commences
Outstanding payment - A payments made after the work is completed

Introduction

Snap Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing contracting company.
This means Snap co-ordinates your job by handling communication, advertising, surveying, specifications, quoting, scheduling, finance, materials supply and more.
Snap partners with self-employed subcontractors that are skilled, competent, and trusted to complete the works.

The works specifications, pricing and works schedule are agreed upon between you and Snap before any payment or work commences.
You must pay a deposit before your job is booked and scheduled, the outstanding payment must be paid once the works are completed to the works specification.
All formal communication such as planning, invoicing and troubleshooting must be done with Snap.

Customer Chnages

You can request a change to the works specification any time during planning or before the works is completed.

If your change is made after 11am on the day before the scheduled start date, any excess deposit may not be refunded.

If your change is made after the works is partially completed, the outstanding payment may not be reduced and is liable to increase.

Customer Cancellations

You can cancel the works any time before the works is completed.

If you cancel within 72 hours of the start date, some of your deposit may be retained to cover losses such as materials, reserved labour, and admin.
Deposits may not be refunded after 11am on the day before the scheduled start date.

If you decide to cancel after the works has commenced, you must pay for what's already been done, such as used labour, procured materials and hired equipment.

Subcontractor Access

The sub-contractor must have access to any necessary areas of your property and means to freely come and go, including items and information, such as keys, passcodes or directions.

The sub-contractor must have access to utilities such as electricity, water and restrooms. This includes permission to turn off utilities where it is necessary.

Property Damage Compensation

In the event of damage to your property directly caused by our sub-contractors, reasonable compensation will be provided.

Subcontractor Schedule Misconduct

If the sub-contractor does not show up, you are entitled to full refund or have the work reschedule as high priority.

Unforseen Ciscumstances

Snap is not liable for issues outside of our control, such as delivery delays or extreme weather.

If unforeseen circumstances on site require deviation from the works specification, your approval is needed before any changes are made.
If the circumstances are drastic enough, and could not have been reasonably identified before work commenced, you may have to pay additional costs to complete to works.

Warranty

Snap provides 1 year of warranty on work done by our sub-contractors.
